DIY Crossbody Sling Bag
Sling bags and cross body bags are super practical when it comes to travelling. They let you go hands free an carry your stuff in a comfortable way at the same time.
The sling bag in this tutorial is also made to be practical, with a little zipper slip pocket at the front where you can place your phone and some cash. there is also a main zipper compartment which is spacious to keep variety of your stuff inside. There is also an additional pocket inside to keep things even more organized.
The fabric I used to sew the sling bag is canvas fabric and final dimension for the bag are:
- Height:26cm
- Length: 17cm
- Depth: 6cm

You can download the template for front body in the PDF format by clicking here.
Do not scale it up or down, but print it on an A4 paper.
Steps for making the bag:
- Prepare the straps.
- Sew the front zipper pocket
- Sew the gusset for outer body
- Sew together the outer body
- Prepare and attach the inside pocket.
- Sew together the lining
- Sew the main body and lining together.
