A book sleeve or a book cover is a great way to keep your book protected. You can put them in your bag and the covers will remain unspoiled.
The book sleeve I have made here has two exterior pockets and one main pocket. All the pockets are covered and can be closed by a flap with a snap button.
The exterior of the book sleeve is made polyester canvas quilted with polyester. It not only gives the book cover a neat look but also help keep the books more protected. The inner lining is made of polyester canvas fused with a very lightweight fusible fabric. Reason I use the fusible fabric is only to give a structure to the polyester fabric before cutting. It helps in precise cutting and neat stitching because working with the polyester canvas can be a bit tricky as compared to cotton.
The two outer pockets are perfect for keeping pens, bookmarks or any other item you find essential for your reading experience.
Final size of the book sleeve is:
Height: 23cm and Width: 21cm
Following are the materials and dimension required to make the book sleeve of book cover.
